>> It's not just about the ride-out.
It's about the energy it took out of Martinson.
Martinson is going to give the one for escape and start out.
It's 1-1.
So the one for Martinson is because of a technical violation, figure four scissors on the head.
The one now given to McDonough.

Coach, what do you think so far?
>> I like how we responded after that 25 match.
You know, got to win the close ones.
Obviously our 41 and 49 got big-time bonus points.
Went to work on top.
That's what it's going to take to get it done in a big-time duel where it's close.
>> What's the message at halftime?
>> Get to your offense and go to work on your top stuff.
Give seven minutes all you got.

It's this way all the time.
>> The last time wrestling will be held in the region center because you're doing a big remodel.
>> Yeah, we started it.
Last time in the old gymnasium.
>> Sounds like a really cool environment.
A little less than 2,000 on top of the events.
>> The four- sided seating is great for wrestling.
It's overdue.
It's a great facility and it's time to updating.
>> Luther wrestling goes way back before color pictures.
What a long tradition of winning and just --it's an important sport here at Luther.
>> It is.
It's valued.
This part of the State has always been --wrestling's always been an important part of this area.
We're just happy to continue to keep the legacy going.

You're a Luther guy.
Your family, your daughters married Luther people.
>> It's a special place.
That's one of the things that special about Luther.

It's been great for our family overall.
It's a special place.
>> It is a special place.
Now you're going to bring in a women's program.

We're excited about that.
It's time.
I think we put some things in place to hopefully help it have success over time.
We have a new wrestling complex we're excited about.
We'll break ground in April and be done in October.
That will house our women's and men's team.
We're just really appreciative the support of the administration and alumni and donor base to help that help.
>> Is that a wrestler right there?
>> All- American heavy weight.
>> That's a great idea hammering it down and building up the new.
Really neat that --I was saying tonight we have a first-year coach at Central.
A 30-year coach here and the sport needs them both.
>> Yeah.
>> I hope you got another 20 years in you.
>> I got something more that's for sure.
Not done yet.
We need quality young coaches and good older coaches to stay fired up about it.
I'm one of those guys.
You've got a lot of enthusiasm.
I know your passion and enthusiasm, you know, is felt by the wrestlers.
I've been really impressed with the entire environment here tonight.

Good job.
It's only 8-6 here.
He's still in this match.
>> Roos needs to be looking for a takedown.
He's trying -- oh, nice job.

Coach said the longer the match goes the better Roos is.
Strehlow, right back at him himself.
Nice shot himself.
Big underhook Strehlow, left arm.
Like we said, Roos is a 74-pounder, moved up a couple weights for the team.
He's had a good year.
12- 5 record.
>> Moving well.
Needs to be able to get in.
A takedown would absolutely put him in the lead and he could erase riding time as well.

Nice shot, reshot, .
>> Good fight going on right here.
>> Really is, man.

Three- star athlete.
>> He's a strength intern on the campus as well.
That's what he wants to do, go into strength and conditioning, Hayden does.
>> Two big boys.
285 is the limit.
I think that Walter West has to cut a couple pounds for weigh-in sometimes.
Good for the heavy weight s to cut a little weight.
>> Yeah, makes you feel better.
I hated that on road trips when they were eating.
>> They're all happy.
No reason to be happy.
