Put it up!
Quick, with the dump.
Gallentine, after it.
Nehring, to the outside.
Nehring again.
That is going to be blockedout .
Eaglesget the point.
>> Kathy: Itell you, for Ankeny Christian, I amso impressed with Anna Weathers,6'0" in the backcourt, apparently,a good defensiveplayer.
She reads the hit well, picksup a lot of good ones.
>> BJ:Service error , Comets will takeit .
Now, dropping back to serve, Klayre Gallentine.
Shealso had 50 acesentering the state championship match.
Nehring, just doing herthing on the outside.
>> Kathy: Nehringdoing Nehring,yup.
Tipping it rightin front.
Such good body control, comesin hard .
Not going to hit over anybuddy, so she has got to be smart.
Shewill get around them, throughthem, now in front of them.
>>BJ: Opportunity for the Eagles.
Quick.
Weathersthere.
>> Kathy: Boy, that is frustratingas a coach.
I was just going to say how the LiberoforBCLUW, Klayre Gallentine, picks upeverything, butI think she thought, right back, Quick was going to get thatball.
>> BJ: Quick , whata strike.
Nehring, going to set it up forher again.
Quick -- >> Kathy: So nice to have aleft-handed setter.
My goodness, what a nice player.
Where did you say she wasgoing next year?
>> BJ: Timeout goingtobe taken here by BCLUW.
Let's go inside of that Ankeny Christianhuddle ,and head coach Michelle Quick .
>>Let's stay incontrol.
Work through something there, got right throughit, they didn't know it.
Stay in control.
I like that you were shouting out whatneeds to go on out there.
Keep going.
Ifyou have to say something, sayit loud, multiple times, so that wecontend continue the rhythm.
Stayin control, findthe fairway in the back, to keep themguessing.
They hadno idea what would happen on the lasttwo plays.
When they're guessing, theydon'tknow what is happening.
We need tokeep them guessing and is everybodythat wehave in the arsenal.
Let's go.
>>Kathy: Wants to keepBCLUW guessing on defense, and even her daughter attacking on thesecondball, sending it over to her.
she does not want tobe predictable.
They have slowed that, getting to each other asmuch as they want.
>> BJ: Ankeny Christian, a 10-5advantage.
Last time they lost was backon October 12th against Catholicas part of a weekend tournament.
Otherwise, winners of eightstraight.
Tried to go for their thirdstraightstate championship .
Nason tried togo deep.
Quick,to the outside, Weathers.
>> Kathy:That was a nice job .
Changed up her arm swing, balloff the blockers.
Good job.
That is what coach meant about beingin control.
>> BJ: Nason, the quickdump .
Quick, right there though.
Weathers .
Gallentine, tothe outside.
Back row attack, cannotget squared.
Takes out Farnsworth.
TheEagles go up by 7, theirlargest lead >> Kathy: Liketo see them set up a play here, stacked inthe middle .
Somedifferent options right now.
Give thoseplayers different books toget out.
>> BJ: Nehring, setting Quick.
And it pays off.
Another kill for Quick.
That's her fifth ,along with her 19 assists.
>> Kathy: So frustrating rightnow.
Just that one spark.
And I wouldshe was going to say, doesn't helpthat she hasbeen serving , my gosh, she has beenservinghard.
>> BJ: BCLUW, going tobe going to their bench.
Crawfordwill comein to serve.
It appears the Comets, you mentioned, they're looking for aspark.
Still lots of points to beplayed here.
>> Kathy: But the body language, youcanjust kind of see , no, what do wedo here.
That is where you need seniors stepping up.
Doesn'tmatter who, players, saying, giveme the ball.
>> BJ: Weathers,anothercount.
>> Kathy: Coach, taking inside-out,this is a biggerspot .
I think this is what we seesometimes when weare running around the outside.
Iwasgoing to say, Olivia Peters came inon the right side, put thatside out.
>> BJ: Side out,Comets.
Here is the serve.
Roll shot,Nehring.
Handled by Farnsworth.
Givesit right back.
Mason to cash it in.
>> Kathy:Farnsworth, making a great approach, different spot onthe net.
leadthem all years with kills.
Nice timefor her tocontrol the board.
>> BJ: Gallentine, just able to get underneath of it,but thereis no one home.
The second ball, sideout, Ankeny Christian.
>> Kathy:Gallentine is a nice Libero forBCLUW.
She is getting her hands on alot of balls.
Then, it kind of seems like they're droppingthere is a good pass.
Let's runsomething fast.
>> BJ: Quick,to the middle, blocked back,as Weathers puta big swing into it, but it was a block.
>> Kathy:Nice set, a littlebit low, gives the blocker a huge advantage.
>> BJ:Double-hit .
Calledagainst BCLUW.
>> Kathy: I think that was BENSONover there, but theball up .
That was a great job.
>>BJ:Weathers --Great pass that time toFarnsworth, theside out.
Now, Savannah Moeller, the 61 seniorwill come in.
>> Kathy: This is a smallrotationblocking, and you would thinkthis would be the location to pullsome points.
Farnsworth, the ballup there, doesn't have a big block.
Going to be dumped out byNehring.
Quick recovery, though, AnkenyChristian .
Nehring.
>> Kathy: Nice play .
>> BJ: Nehring,blocked back .
Quickto Nehring again.
Farnsworth, theup ,gets it right back from Nason.
Too strong on the attack.
tran04What happens, not transitioning up far enough, endsup standing and jumping,as many timesas they can get it.
Have got to transition,no matter whatplay just hit in front.
>> BJ: Nason, having to hustle .
Played up by AnkenyChristian.
Nehring, big swing.
>>Kathy: Weknow transition every time,Nehring.
>> BJ: 18-11.

>> Kathy: That should never happenon serve that ball shouldnot go up, butgoes right back for yoursetter.
>> BJ: Eagles, a couple ofpoints away.
They haven't played afive-set match all season.
They haveplayed a number of weekend tournaments, bestof three.
Some of those were hardto come by for AnkenyChristian.
You can see why , this isa very, verysolid club.
>> Kathy:They're so scrappy defensively.
Theycan get balls up in play.
>>BJ: Nason, to the outside.
Peters, shot, handled byAnkeny Christian.
Nehring, blockedback though.
