- Well, when C.L.
preaches, you don't know where he's going, but you do know where he's going.
There ain't but one Christian sermon, and that's Jesus.
(laughing) But every Sunday we go and hear a preacher take us to Jesus in a different way.
♪ I love the Lord ♪ ♪ He heard my cry ♪ ♪ I, I love ♪ - So it's all about storytelling?
- It is.
It is.
And connecting the biblical story with our story.
Why get upset about what they do to us?
Look what they did to Jesus.
That's a Black way of explaining our existence on this earth.
He's the cornerstone, yet the world rejected him.
And so, you hear a whole message about what it means to live in hope in the midst of the rejection.
That's what Black preaching is.
